Comparison
Trazico 4,000 sq ft vs hOmeLabs 50-pint
Buy the hOmeLabs when you want the deeper record and a pint figure taken in milder air. Buy the Trazico when you will run the included hose and you are choosing on value for a large room, with eyes open about the test condition.

Same aisle, different evidence
Both of these are compressor dehumidifiers aimed at a basement or a large room. Both have wheels, a humidistat, auto defrost, and auto restart. That is where the easy comparison ends.
The Trazico TZ01-A, ASIN B0DSLDCJ7L, is listed as 45 pints a day at 95°F and 90% relative humidity, for a claimed 4,000 square feet. The hose, 4.9 feet, is in the box. The tank is only 0.59 gallons. There is no Wi-Fi. Amazon's rating is 4.4 from 642 reviews. Power is listed at 260 watts, and the footprint is narrow.
The hOmeLabs HME031003N, ASIN B073VBWKJZ, is listed as 50 pints a day at 80°F and 60% RH, with a higher number at the hot test, and a claimed 7,000 square feet. The tank is 1.6 gallons. The hose port is real and the hose is not included. Wi-Fi is. The rating is 4.4 from more than 25,000 reviews. Power is about 322 watts. There is no pump on either ASIN.
The pint numbers are not rivals yet
If you subtract 45 from 50 and declare a winner, you skipped the test condition. Hot, saturated air gives up water easily. A figure taken there looks larger than a figure taken in cooler, merely damp air. The hOmeLabs publishes the milder number. The Trazico, on the listing we checked, does not. Until it does, the hOmeLabs is the one you can compare with other current 50-pint machines. The Trazico is a large-room compressor with a strong owner score and an honest setup requirement, not a proven equal on the DOE-style line.
In a real basement the gap may be smaller or larger than five pints. Closed doors, a wet slab, and whether the hose actually drains will move the result more than the badge.
The hose versus the bucket
This is the practical fork. If you have a floor drain or a sump below the unit, the Trazico arrives ready. You still have to route the hose downhill with no sneak rise. Do that and the tiny tank is irrelevant. Refuse the hose and the tiny tank is the whole ownership experience. You will empty it constantly, and the full light will look like a breakdown.
The hOmeLabs gives you a bucket you can live with for a day in moderate damp, and it asks you to buy a hose for the serious case. That is a hardware-store errand, not a design flaw, but it is a difference on day one. People who already own a hose and want the longer record should not pay extra attention to the Trazico's included tube. People who want one box and a drain should.
Noise, app, and the room
Neither listing gives you a laboratory match on sound. The Trazico claims about 40 dB. The hOmeLabs does not publish a decibel number in the specs we used. Both will be obvious in a quiet room on high. Neither belongs in a nursery. For a basement mechanical area, both are normal.
Wi-Fi on the hOmeLabs matters if you travel or if the unit is on a different floor. It does not remove more water. The Trazico's panel is the control you have. Set it, confirm with a separate hygrometer, and leave it.
Which one to buy
Buy the hOmeLabs if you want the machine with the long public record and a pint rating stated at 80°F and 60% RH, and you are willing to supply a hose or empty 1.6 gallons. Buy the Trazico if you will connect the included hose the day it arrives, you want the value large-room compressor, and you are not going to pretend the 95°F pint figure is a DOE 50-pint. If you need water pumped uphill, buy neither of these ASINs. Look up the pump variant of a brand that actually sells one, and match the model number.
